Ready For Back To School?

Personal Pizzas!

Here is a dinner idea that’s quick, easy, cheap and fun. What more could you want? This is a fun little dinner or snack idea to do with kids. It’s great on a night when the kids get home from school and maybe they’ve brought a few surprise friends over and you don’t know what you’re going to cook. This can be made usually with items you already have in the fridge.

The main items you’ll need for these are:
english muffins, pizza sauce and cheese.

A few fun extras include:
mini pepperoni, bacon, chicken
fresh cut veggies, hot peppers, garlic
blue cheese, ranch dressing, hot sauce

Preheat oven to 375*F

Toast the english muffins first if you like the crust a little extra crispy, then load up the muffins with sauce and cheese. (Leave a few without sauce if you want to experiment with some white pizza options) If you are using chicken or bacon cook these up first and cut up into bite size pieces. Create a toppings bar with all the other ingredients you want to use, then let the kids top their pizzas with whatever they like!

Here a are a few yummy combos I tried:
Classic Pepperoni, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Buffalo Chicken and Blue Cheese & Garlic Parmesan

Keep it simple or get really creative!

Once all the pizzas are topped place them on a cookie sheet. (TIP: line the cookie sheet with aluminum foil for easy clean up) Then pop them in oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese looks melted and golden brown.
